The MIC2043-2YTS-TR is a high-side MOSFET power distribution switch designed for general-purpose applications requiring circuit protection. It operates within a voltage range of 0.8V to 5.5V and can handle continuous output currents up to 3A. The device features programmable current limiting and thermal shutdown capabilities to safeguard both the switch and the connected load. An auto-reset circuit breaker mode is included, which disables the output after detecting an overcurrent condition lasting more than 28ms, with reset achieved by reducing or removing the load. The MIC2043-2YTS-TR incorporates soft-start circuitry to limit inrush current, making it suitable for applications with highly capacitive loads.
