The MIC2041-2BMM-TR is a high-side MOSFET switch designed for power distribution applications requiring circuit protection. It operates within a voltage range of 0.8V to 5.5V and supports continuous output currents up to 1.5A. The device features programmable current limiting and thermal shutdown capabilities to safeguard both the switch and the load. An auto-reset circuit breaker mode is included, which latches the output off during overcurrent conditions lasting more than 28ms, with reset achieved by reducing or removing the load. The MIC2041-2BMM-TR also incorporates soft start circuitry to minimize inrush current, making it suitable for applications with highly capacitive loads.
