Embedded Controller MEC1619
MEC1619/MEC1619i is the mixed signal base component of a multi-device advanced I/O controller architecture. It incorporates a high-performance 32-bit ARC 625D embedded microcontroller with a 192KB Embedded Flash Subsystem, 16KB of SRAM and a 1KB EEPROM Emulation and communicates with the system host using the Intel® Low Pin Count bus. This product is the Embedded Controller Base Component of a split-architecture Advanced I/O Controller system that uses BC-LinkTM communication protocol to access up to three companion components. The BC-LinkTM protocol is peer-to-peer, providing communication between the MEC1619 embedded controller and registers located in a companion. The MEC1619 is directly powered by two separate suspend supply planes (VBAT and VTR) and senses a third runtime power plane (VCC) to provide “instant on” and system power management functions. Additional Features ARC-625D system controller 156 LFBGA package 192KB Embedded Flash Subsystem 16KB RAM (65B CMOS) 1K bytes EEPROM 18x8 keyboard scan matrix 126 GPIO Pins 12 SMBus ports 16 analog to digital converter channels 3 LED 3 low-power timers 6 external diodes, 1 internal diode (temperature monitoring) 16 PWM 6 Fan Tachometer Inputs MCU Serial Debug Port Two pin serial debug port with 16C550A register interface JTAG interface
