Linear Active Thermistor™ ICs are sensors whose output voltage is directly proportional to measured temperature. The MCP9701 can accurately measure temperature from -10°C to +125°C. The output of the MCP9701 is calibrated to a slope of 19.53 mV/°C and has a DC offset of 400 mV. The offset allows reading negative temperatures without the need for a negative supply. The MCP9701 is packaged in space saving 5-pin SC-70 packages, making it ideal for space-critical and low-cost applications. Additional Features Linear Temperature Slope: 19.53 mV/°C ±4°C Accuracy from 0°C to +70°C -4°C/+6°C Accuracy from -10°C to +125°C Very low Operating Current: 12 µA (max) Operates from 3.1V to 5.5V No external Components Required Space-saving SC-70 Package AEC-Q100 Qualified Grade 1
