The MCP3426A2T-E/MS is a 16-bit Delta-Sigma Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) featuring a two-channel differential input configuration. It operates within a voltage supply range of 2.7V to 5.5V and supports a programmable data rate of 15 samples per second (SPS) in 16-bit mode, 60 SPS in 14-bit mode, and 240 SPS in 12-bit mode. The device includes an on-board 2.048V voltage reference with an accuracy of ¬±0.05% and a drift of 15 ppm/¬8C, which allows for a full-scale differential input range of ¬±2.048V. The MCP3426A2T-E/MS incorporates a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) with selectable gains of 1, 2, 4, or 8, enabling it to handle weak input signals effectively. It features both one-shot and continuous conversion modes, with low current consumption rates of 135 ¬µA during continuous operation and as low as 2.25 ¬µA in one-shot mode at 14-bit resolution.
