The MCP25612FD is a second generation, dual CAN transceiver from Microchip Technology Inc. The device supports both Classic CAN and CAN Flexible Data-rate (CAN FD) physical layer requirements allowing designs the ability to serve CAN systems today while preparing for future CAN FD system requirements. The device meets the automotive requirements for CAN FD bit rates exceeding 2 Mbps, low quiescent current, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD).
