The LAN8187-JT is a single-chip Ethernet physical layer transceiver designed for MII/RMII 10/100 Ethernet applications. It features HP Auto-MDIX and flexPWR¬Æ technology, allowing for flexible power management with a variable I/O voltage range of +1.6V to +3.6V. The device includes an integrated 3.3V to 1.8V regulator, which can be disabled if a 1.8V supply is available. The LAN8187-JT provides robust ESD protection levels of ¬±8kV HBM and complies with EN61000-4-2 standards, ensuring reliability in various environments. It supports auto-negotiation, parallel detection, and operates with low current consumption, typically 39mA in 10BASE-T and 79mA in 100BASE-TX modes. The transceiver is housed in a low-profile 64-pin TQFP package and is suitable for a wide range of applications, including set-top boxes, network printers, and embedded telecom systems.
