The KS8721BLI is a 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX/100BASE-FX physical layer transceiver designed for use with MII and RMII interfaces. It operates with a single 3.3V power supply and features a built-in voltage regulator, ensuring low power consumption of less than 340mW. This transceiver is compliant with the IEEE 802.3u standard and supports auto-negotiation for 10/100Mbps speeds and full-/half-duplex modes. The KS8721BLI includes on-chip analog front-end filtering for both 100BASE-TX and 10BASE-T, eliminating the need for external filters. It also supports Far_End_Fault detection and offers power-saving modes. The device is configurable through MII serial management ports or external control pins, making it versatile for various applications. It is available in a 48-pin LQFP package and is rated for an industrial temperature range of -40¬8C to +85¬8C, making it suitable for demanding environments.
