The HV9985QP-G is a 3-channel closed-loop switch-mode LED driver IC designed for driving single-switch converters in constant output current mode. It supports RGB backlight applications and multiple string white LED driver configurations. The device operates within a 10V to 40V input range and features a typical switching frequency of up to 1 MHz, with options for internal or external clock synchronization. Key features include optimized gate drivers for logic level FETs, ±2% absolute and string-to-string current accuracy with appropriate sense resistors, and high pulse-width modulation (PWM) dimming ratios of up to 5000:1.
