The high-performance Microchip picoPower® AVR® RISC-based CMOS 8-bit microcontroller combines 2 KB ISP Flash memory, 128B EEPROM, 128B SRAM, six general purpose I/O lines, 32 general purpose working registers, one 8-bit timer/counter with compare modes, one 8-bit high-speed timer/counter, universal serial interface (USI), internal and external interrupts, 4-channel 10-bit A/D converter, programmable watchdog timer with internal oscillator, and three software selectable power saving modes. The device operates between 2.7-5.5 volts. By executing powerful instructions in a single clock cycle, the device achieves throughputs approaching one MIPS per MHz, balancing power consumption and processor speed. Functional Safety: This product is recommended for safety critical applications targeting industrial and automotive products (IEC 61508 and ISO 26262).
