The ATSAM4S2CB-CFNR is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 microcontroller from the Atmel | SMART SAM4S series, operating at a maximum speed of 120 MHz. It features up to 2048 Kbytes of Flash memory with optional dual-bank implementation and cache, along with 160 Kbytes of SRAM. The microcontroller includes a comprehensive peripheral set, such as a full-speed USB device port, multiple USARTs, UARTs, TWIs, SPIs, an I2S interface, and various timers, including PWM and real-time timers. This device supports low-power operation with three software-selectable modes: Sleep, Wait, and Backup, allowing for consumption as low as 1 µA in Backup mode. It is designed for a wide range of applications, including consumer electronics, industrial control, and PC peripherals, and operates within a voltage range of 1.62V to 3.6V. The ATSAM4S2CB-CFNR is also pin-compatible with several other microcontroller series, facilitating design flexibility.
