The maximum page write cycle time is 10 ms, with an optional faster time of 2 ms available. This EEPROM operates with a single 5V ¬±10% supply and has low power dissipation, consuming 40 mA during active operation and only 100 ¬µA in CMOS standby mode. It includes hardware and software data protection mechanisms, ensuring data integrity during write operations. The device supports data polling and toggle bit functionality for end-of-write detection, enhancing reliability during data operations. Manufactured using advanced CMOS technology, the AT28HC64B offers high endurance of 100,000 write cycles and a data retention period of up to 10 years. It is compatible with both CMOS and TTL logic levels and is available in a 28-lead SOIC package. The operating temperature range is from -40¬8C to 85¬8C, making it suitable for industrial applications.
