The Microchip 24C01C is a 1Kbit EEPROM designed for industrial applications with an operating temperature range of -40¬8C to +85¬8C. It operates on a single supply voltage between 4.5V and 5.5V and features a low-power CMOS technology, with a maximum read current of 1 mA and standby current of 5 ¬µA. The device utilizes a 2-wire I¬=C serial interface, supporting clock frequencies of 100 kHz and 400 kHz, and can be cascaded with up to eight devices for a total of 8K bits of memory. The EEPROM has a page write capability of 16 bytes and a maximum write cycle time of 1 ms. It is rated for more than 1 million erase/write cycles and offers data retention of over 200 years. The device is available in multiple package types, including 8-lead PDIP, SOIC, TSSOP, DFN, TDFN, MSOP, and 6-lead SOT-23, and is compliant with RoHS standards.
