The MCU40N04HE3 is an N-channel MOSFET designed for power switching applications, packaged in a DPAK (TO-252) case measuring 6.70 mm maximum length, 6.20 mm maximum width, and 2.40 mm maximum height. It has a 40 V drain-source voltage rating, continuous drain current of 40 A at 25°C, and power dissipation of 56 W. The device operates from -55°C to +150°C with a junction-to-case thermal resistance of 2.2°C/W and junction-to-ambient thermal resistance of 45°C/W. It meets AEC-Q101 qualification standards and is RoHS compliant with halogen-free, UL 94 V-0 rated epoxy encapsulation. The part includes provisions for single pulsed avalanche energy up to 49 mJ and has a gate threshold voltage range of 1 to 2.5 V.
