The MCP2D5N10Y is an N-channel MOSFET using Split Gate Trench Power MV technology, packaged in a TO-220AB(B) case measuring 16.10 mm maximum length, 13.80 mm maximum width, and 5.08 mm lead spacing height. It has a drain-source voltage rating of 100 V, continuous drain current of 178 A at 100°C, and total power dissipation of 300 W. Thermal resistance is 0.5°C/W from junction to case and 35°C/W from junction to ambient on a 1 in² FR-4 board with 2 oz copper in still air. The device meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating, is halogen-free, and RoHS compliant. Operating and storage junction temperatures range from -55°C to +175°C.
