Micro Air® manufactures a complete line of portable collectors. from the TM1000 cartridge collector, for lighter duty or smaller volume applications to the MC1500 cartridge collector for heavy duty production. The TM500, our newest addition to the line of portable collectors, equipped with a baffle prefilter and your choice of a 95% DOP HEPA or 99.97% DOP HEPA, fits the bill where space constraints are an issue or where a wall-hung unit could be used.
Media units utilize a series of filters to collect the particulate. These include pre-filters, media bag filters, HEPA after-filters and charcoal modules. Any of the media units can be configured with any combination of media to most effectively capture the specific particulate or fume.
Cartridge units utilize self-cleaning, high efficiency cartridge filters, that reduce filter replacement costs, as the filter elements are continually cleaned by compressed air. All Micro Air® cartridge collectors utilize Micro Air's® exclusive Roto-Pulse cleaning system. Because this cleaning system cleans the entire surface of the cartridge, it has proven to be far more effective, than the traditional reverse-jet system, thus extending filter life. Cartridge collectors can also be equipped with HEPA filters or Charcoal Modules.

Micro Air® dust collectors utilize cartridge filtration and are available in a large range of configurations up to 32 cartridge models. Modular design provides ability to bank units together for virtually an unlimited number of cartridges. All are designed to meet OSHA / NFPA and Industrial Ventilation Standards and are sized and rated for the proper air-to-cloth ratio to solve clean air issues in a wide variety of applications such as weld smoke, powder dust, sanding dust, shot-blast dust, grinding dust, paper dust, etc.
Key to our models is a revolutionary new cleaning system called Roto-Pulse®. This is an on line system that continually cleans the filters with a revolving, compressed air driven, tube. As air enters the tube, the force of the pulse causes the tube to rotate incrementally inside the cartridge. While rotating, air exits the pre-drilled holes in the tube. The result is that air hits the entire inside length of the cartridge, pulsing dirt particles away from the filter for a much more efficient cleaning cycle.

Micro Air® industrial source capture models are available in three types of filtration:

All Micro Air® cartridge air cleaners utilize the revolutionary Roto-Pulse® cleaning system. This cleaning method has proven far more effective at cleaning the filter than the traditional reverse-jet systems.

• Water Micro Air® HYDROMAX®: wet collectors, excellent for operations that generate combustible particulate, can be ducted directly to the process or to one of the WCDDT Downdraft tables to capture contaminants at the source of generation.
