The Ducted Downdraft Table DDT 4830 from Micro Air is designed to effectively draw contaminants away from the worker's breathing zone, enhancing safety and productivity. It features a non-powered design that connects to existing exhaust or filtration systems, allowing for flexible configurations and upgrades without the need for a new table. The table is modular, enabling use in various arrangements, and is available in sizes of 30"x48". It has a rugged construction with a weight capacity of 750 lbs, ensuring durability. The height is adjustable in 3-inch increments, accommodating different user preferences. Optional features include spark shields for applications involving flying debris and various hopper discharge arrangements for tailored dust collection solutions.
DOWNDRAFT WORK SURFACE – Draws the contaminants down and away from the worker’s breathing zone. Special deflectors create an even airflow across the table surface to ensure there are no “dead air zones” and that the work area is 100% usable.
NON-POWERED UNIT GIVES FLEXIBILITY – Simply connect to your new or existing exhaust or filtration system. By going with a non-powered table, you are selecting a system that is the most cost effective method to reduce airborne contaminants at the source. The system filtration (or lack thereof) can always be upgraded without having to purchase another downdraft table. Exhaust capacities from 100-300 fpm per square foot of table area allow your specific needs to be met.
MODULAR DESIGN – Can be used individually or in groups, side by side, back to back, whatever best fits your workspace. If your requirements change, simply add another table or split up your existing ones. Available in 30"x48" or 30"x72" table sizes.
PORTABLE CONVENIENCE – Optional 3" casters allow total freedom of movement.
RUGGED CONSTRUCTION – Heavy duty cabinet design and sturdy components provide a strong, durable work surface and investment. The 48" table has 750 lb. capacity, 72" table has 1,125 lb. capacity.
HEAVY STEEL GRATING – Provides an excellent all around work surface. Specialized materials are optional for plasma cutting, scratchless surfaces and non-sparking applications.
ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT – Allows for adjustment in 3" increments to fit your unique requirements. Work surface adjustable height without wheels is 30", 33" and 36". Work surface adjustable height with wheels is 33.75", 36.75" and 39.75".
VARIETY OF HOPPER OPENINGS – The standard hopper discharge opening is designed to accept a multitude of optional arrangements.
OPTIONAL SPARK SHIELD – For grinding and applications that involve flying debris, we offer a side and back shield to help control particulate.
