A small, low-power, 2.4 GHz plug-in transmitter-receiver module with an extended range up to three miles and power consumption as low as 2.5 uA. The RF Engine Modules come loaded with the Synapse SNAP network stackand will immediately integrate into the network and start routing signals from other nodes. Typical applications include a wireless serial port, sensor monitoring,actuator control, or an intelligent embedded controller - the possiblities are limtiless.Synapse RF Engine modules can be used in conjunction withoff-the-shelf SNAP nodes or to power custom wireless nodes that have been developed by third-parties such as the end-user.
