Description
MCM-48 has good long-range order and high thermal stability. It has very attractive application prospects in selective catalysis, macromolecular adsorption and separation, assembly of nanoclusters, etc. It can be used as adsorbent, catalytic material and host material to synthesize new electron transfer photosensitizers, semiconductor materials, carbon fibers, Nonlinear optical materials and quantum clusters, etc. Because of its large pore size, it can well adsorb heavy metal ions such as Hg, Pb, Ag, Cd, etc., which have large ionic radius and are not easily adsorbed by microporous molecular sieves. In the case of high sulfate ion content, it can remove low concentrations of chromate and arsenate, and can also treat organic pollutants benzene, toluene and volatile organic compounds in wastewater.
