This system is 100% reactive and does not contain any solvents or diluents. Its most salient features include superior physical strength properties, low shrinkage upon curing and enhanced non-yellowing stability. UV15-7TK1ANV-3 is not oxygen inhibited and cures readily in 15-30 seconds when exposed to a UV light source emitting at a wavelength of 320-365 nm with an energy output of 20 milliwatts/cm². The rate of cure depends upon the compound’s distance from the light source, the thickness of the section and the intensity of the light source. It should be noted that the system can cure in sections up to 1/8 inch. It contains no solvents or diluents. UV15-7TK1ANV-3 bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including glass, metals and plastics, including polycarbonates, acrylics and polyester films. UV15-7TK1ANV-3 offers very good chemical resistance to water, fuels, and oils, among others. It exhibits an exceptional combination of properties including outstanding durability, and good electrical insulation properties, along with fine thermal cycling capabilities. UV15-7TK1ANV-3 is translucent and has a service temperature range of -80°F to +300°F.This system can be used in optical, fiber-optic, electronic, laser, microelectronic and semiconductor applications, when a robust UV curable paste consistency system is desirable.
