Master Bond LED403Med is a very special, one part LED curable system that can be used as an adhesive, sealant, coating and encapsulation system. It requires no mixing and has excellent dimensional stability, electrical insulation and chemical resistance. LED403Med withstands sterilization, including gamma radiation, ETO and various chemical sterilants. Featuring excellent optical clarity and light transmission properties, it fully cures tack-free without any oxygen inhibition and passes the plastics test for USP Class VI biocompatibility and ISO 10993-5 cytotoxicity requirements. As an added benefit, LED light emitting sources are generally considered to be less hazardous and more user friendly than their comparable UV light sources.
