Two Component Chemical Resistance Epoxy Coating
EP41S-1
Master Bond Polymer System EP41S-1 is a two component epoxy resin system designed for durable, high performance bonding, sealing, coating and encapsulating. EP41S-1 is formulated to cure at ambient temperatures or more quickly at elevated temperatures. It successfully withstands prolonged immersion in gasoline, gasohol, fuels, oils, alcohols, toluene as well as a wide number of other organic and inorganic solvents. Master Bond Polymer System EP41S-1 is 100% reactive and contains no solvents or diluents. Its linear shrinkage upon cure is very low -- less than 0.1% inches/inch. EP41S-1 has excellent physical properties including high tensile and compressive strengths along with outstanding electrical insulation properties. It is serviceable over the wide temperature range of -60°F to +300°F. It adheres well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, glass, ceramics, cement, rubbers and many plastics. Its low viscosity and excellent flowability make it ideal for small to moderate sized castings. A "non-drip" version called EP41S-1ND is also available. This versatile epoxy compound is widely used in automotive applications, chemical processing plants and other industries where chemically resistant durable, high performance adhesives, sealants, coatings and encapsulants are required.
