Current Monitor Relays monitor AC single-phase currents for over or under current conditions. A separate 120 VAC input (supply) voltage is required to power these units. Three current ranges are available: 0.1-1 A; 0.5-5 A; and 1-10 A. An external current transformer may be used to extend the range of these products. The drop-out current setting is adjustable from 50-95% of the selected pick-up setting. The relay will energize when the monitored AC current is above the pick-up setting for a period longer than the adjustable time delay of 0.1-10 seconds and will de-energize when the monitored current is below the drop-out setting.
