High temperature inductive proximity sensors with an M8 housing and 2 mm sensing range are shielded, operate on 10-35 VDC, and provide N.O. or N.C. output with a load current of 120 mA up to 130 °C and 70 mA up to 140 °C. The switching frequency is 800 Hz, and the short circuit limit is 400 mA. The sensor has an IP67 protection rating, operates from -25 °C to 140 °C, and includes reverse polarity protection and a 100 kΩ load resistor. The sensing face is LPC-Vectra, and the cable is silicone with a standard length of 2 m ±5%. Vibration resistance is 1 mm amplitude at 55 Hz, and shock resistance is 10 g for 11 ms. EMC immunity complies with IEC 61000-4-2, IEC 61000-4-3, and IEC 61000-4-4 Level 2, and IEC 60255-5 at 1 kV.
High Temperature Inductive Proximity Sensors
Locon Sensor Systems is proud to introduce High Temperature Inductive Proximity Sensors to its product line. These sensors can withstand temperatures from -25 degrees Celsius to +250 degrees Celsius and are available in threaded housing sizes including:
Additional incorporated features include short circuit and overload protection, as well as reverse polarity protection on the supply voltage and a 100K Ohm load resistor. The protection rating (DIN 40 050) is IP67. Please see the data sheet on these sensors more features as well as complete technical information.
