The SE-107 is a ground-fault ground-check monitor for resistance-grounded systems, designed to protect portable equipment in underground mining applications with trailing cables up to 5 kV. It features adjustable trip levels of 0.5, 2.0, and 4.0 A, a trip time range of 0.1 to 1.0 seconds, harmonic filtering to prevent false operation, and a fail-safe ground-check circuit. The unit is conformally coated for harsh environments, has isolated Form A output contacts, and includes a local and remote reset button. It operates on 120 Vac or 120 Vac/Vdc input voltages. Dimensions are 150 mm height, 109 mm width, and 100 mm depth. It is CSA certified, UL Listed (E340889), and meets C-Tick standards. The SE-107 operates only in UV-trip mode.
The SE-105/SE-107 is a combination ground-wire monitor and ground-fault relay for resistance-grounded systems. It continuously monitors the integrity of the ground conductor to protect portable equipment from hazardous voltages caused by ground faults.
