The SE-107D is a ground-fault ground-check monitor designed for resistance-grounded systems to protect portable equipment from hazardous voltages in trailing cable applications up to 5 kV, particularly in underground mining. It operates on 120Vac/Vdc and features adjustable ground-fault pickup settings of 0.5, 2.0, or 4.0 A with trip delays from 0.1 to 1.0 seconds. The device includes harmonic filtering to prevent false tripping, a fail-safe ground-check circuit, and conformal coating for harsh environments. It provides isolated Form A output contacts and supports local and remote reset. Dimensions are 150 mm high, 109 mm wide, and 100 mm deep. It is CSA certified, UL Listed (E340889), and C-Tick compliant.
The SE-105/SE-107 is a combination ground-wire monitor and ground-fault relay for resistance-grounded systems. It continuously monitors the integrity of the ground conductor to protect portable equipment from hazardous voltages caused by ground faults.
