The SE-105D is a ground-fault ground-check monitor designed for resistance-grounded systems, specifically for trailing cables up to 5 kV in underground mining. It features adjustable ground-fault pickup settings of 0.5, 2.0, or 4.0 A and a trip time delay of 0.1 to 1.0 seconds. The unit operates on 120 V AC/DC input and includes a harmonic filter to prevent false tripping. It supports selectable fail-safe or non-fail-safe contact operation and incorporates a conformal coating for protection in harsh environments. The device has dimensions of 150 mm high, 109 mm wide, and 100 mm deep. It is CSA certified, UL Listed (E340889), and C-Tick compliant, and includes a local and remote reset button with isolated Form A output contacts.
The SE-105/SE-107 is a combination ground-wire monitor and ground-fault relay for resistance-grounded systems. It continuously monitors the integrity of the ground conductor to protect portable equipment from hazardous voltages caused by ground faults.
