The PD2601 is an AC solid state relay with dual power SCR outputs designed for switching AC loads up to 1 A rms with a maximum blocking voltage of 600 V. It features zero-crossing detection, 3750 V rms input-to-output isolation, and 5 mA input sensitivity for DC control. The device is housed in a 4-pin DIP package with a 16-pin body measuring 19.202 mm in length and 7.620 mm in width. It is rated for an operating temperature range of -40 to +85 °C and meets UL 508 (File E69938) and CSA (File 043639) certifications. The part is not for new designs.
The OptoMOS® line of power products uses dual power SCR outputs to produce an alternative to optocoupler and Triac circuits. These switches provide a blocking voltage of up to 800V. In addition, tightly controlled zero-cross circuitry ensures switching of AC loads without the generation of transients.
