Littelfuse, Inc. Delay On Break Timer ORB120A25

Description
The ORB Series open PCB construction offers the user good economy without sacrificing performance and reliability. The output relay is available in isolated, 10A, DPDT or SPDT forms. The time delay may be ordered as factory fixed, onboard knob, or external adjustment. All connections are 0.25 in. (6.35 mm) male quick connect terminals. Operation (Delay-on-Break)Inpu t voltage must be applied before and during timing. Upon closure of the initiate switch, the output relay energizes. The time delay begins when the initiate switch is opened (trailing edge triggered). The output remains energized during timing. At the end of the time delay, the output de-energizes. The output will energize if the initiate switch is closed when input voltage is applied.Reset: Reclosing the initiate switch during timing resets the time delay. Loss of input voltage resets the time delay and output.

Datasheet Summary
Powered by GS/AI

The ORB120A25 is a delay-on-break time relay with 120VAC input, onboard adjustable time delay ranging from 3 to 300 seconds, and an isolated SPDT output rated at 10A resistive at 120/240VAC. It uses analog circuitry with a repeat accuracy of ±2% or 20ms, whichever is greater, and factory calibration tolerance of ±10% for fixed delays. The relay has an electromechanical output, operates on AC line voltage without a separate control supply, and resets within 50ms upon loss of input voltage or reclosure of the initiate switch. It is mounted via four #6 (M3.5 x 0.6) screws with surface mount dimensions of 53.8 mm H × 93.7 mm W × 47.8 mm D, and uses 0.25 in. (6.35 mm) male quick connect terminals. Operational temperature ranges from -20°C to 65°C, with storage from -30°C to 85°C, and it consumes 2.25W. The package includes an onboard adjustment knob for time delay setting.
