The HRDS120 is a single shot timer with an electromechanical SPDT relay output, designed for OEM applications requiring direct control of heavy loads such as compressors, pumps, and heaters. It operates on 12VDC with an onboard adjustable time delay range of 0.1 to 10 seconds and a repeat accuracy of ±0.5% or 20 ms, whichever is greater. The device is housed in a surface-mount package measuring 76.7 mm H × 51.3 mm W × 38.1 mm D, terminated with 0.25 in. (6.35 mm) male quick-connect terminals, and mounted with a single #10 screw. The relay contacts are rated for 30A at 125/240VAC resistive loads and 20A at 28VDC, with a dielectric strength of at least 2000V RMS and encapsulated circuitry for protection against shock, vibration, and humidity. It functions from -40°C to 60°C and consumes ≤2W DC power.

Operation (Single Shot)Input voltage must be applied before and during timing. Upon momentary or maintained closure of the initiate switch, the output relay energizes for a measured interval of time. At the end of the delay, the output de-energizes. Opening or reclosing the initiate switch during timing has no affect on the time delay. The output will energize if the initiate switch is closed when input voltage is applied.Reset: Reset occurs when the time delay is complete and the initiate switch is opened. Loss of input voltage resets the time delay and output.
