C&K Components Micro Mini Side Actuated Surface Mount Detect Switches HDS Series

The HDS Series Micro Mini Side Actuated Surface Mount Detect Switches from C&K Components are designed for applications in consumer electronics, medical devices, and ATCA and MicroTCA devices. These switches feature a low profile, sitting just 1.4 mm off the PCB, and offer both top and side actuation options with right or left configurations available. They have a contact rating of 1 mA at 5 VDC and an operating life of a minimum of 100,000 cycles. The switches exhibit a maximum contact resistance of 1 Oc and an insulation resistance of at least 100 MOc between adjacent contacts. They operate effectively within a temperature range of -40¬8C to 80¬8C and are packaged in tape and reel format, with 5,000 units per reel. The actuation force is limited to a maximum of 30 grams, making them suitable for various design specifications.
