The FPS-CTU-04-00 is the control unit of the FPS Feeder Protection System, designed to monitor voltage and current for comprehensive feeder protection with 17 functions including overcurrent, ground fault, and voltage unbalance protection. It features 8 digital inputs, 5 relay outputs, 1 analog input and output, and an RS-485 communication interface with optional DeviceNet, Profibus, or Ethernet connectivity. The unit is 1/2 DIN size, surface mount, and accepts 5-A or 1-A secondary phase current transformers and up to 600 V voltage inputs without potential transformers. It includes a 24-Vdc supply for auxiliary modules and conforms to CSA and C-Tick standards. Conformal coating protects internal circuits from moisture and corrosion.
