The 48530 is a 9-12 V, 200 A continuous current Smart Battery Isolator designed for automotive battery management in applications such as boats, heavy trucks, and RVs. It features a black thermoplastic base with a plated steel housing, IP66 protection for the solenoid, and copper stud output terminals (5/16-24). The device monitors primary battery voltage and connects the auxiliary battery only after reaching 13.2 V, reducing charging system workload. It supports bi-directional charging and includes an LED status indicator. The unit measures 7.9 x 15.1 mm with mounting holes spaced 56 mm apart, and is rated for operation from -40°C to +85°C with a 750 A inrush current capacity.
