Spiral-Lite GU24 CFLs are designed for use in GU24 sockets. Fixtures with GU24 sockets guarantee energy savings over the life of the fixture because incandescent and halogen light bulbs are not manufactured with GU24 bases; only energy-efficient GU24-based light bulbs can be used in the fixture. Spiral-Lite CFLs are great for maintenance applications where building managers want to ensure energy-saving light bulbs are used in the fixtures instead of incandescent bulbs or in hospitality applications that require theft protection. This 18-watt Spiral-Lite GU24 CFL generates up to 70 lumens per watt to replace a 75-watt incandescent light bulb and save up to 75% in energy costs. It has a warm 2700K color temperature that is similar to incandescent light and a long 10,000-hour life that reduces replacement and maintenance costs.
