ClearShield® Type C is a water-based coating ideal for Giclee canvas applications. Type C exhibits the flexibility required for stretching canvas with no cracking of the clear coat. It is formulated to work on microporous and porous ink jet receptive layers. Type C reduces or eliminates pinholes normally encountered when applying Liquid Laminates to ink jet coated canvas. Type C is formulated for water resistant canvas only and is used with pigmented inks. ClearShield Type C can be applied with most application techniques including automated equipment.
