They are constructed from C36000 Brass and are often used for oxygen service. Their unique barbed design provides easy “press-in” installation ensuring retention and prevents any by-pass leakage around the part. These orifices are 2.5 mm in diameter and fit in many common plastic fittings. This orifice is 100% flow tested on nitrogen to ensure that every part is within ± 5% of its nominal flow rate. Tighter tolerances are available as specials. To further increase accuracy, orifices are tested in the direction of use. These press-in orifices are available in a wide range of standard Lohm rates.
