Leader Global Technologies Compressed Fiber Sheets / Rubberbonded Fiber Jointing Sheets 986A

Description
986A is a compressed EPDM Aramid reinforced Fiber sheet. The combination of aramid fibers and EPDM creates a sheet material that withstands the effect of aggressive acid and alkalies including white, green and black liquor â€" with a minimum of weight loss. In addition, the EPDM handles steam up to 400F. These characteristics make 986A well suited in the pulp & paper industry. In addition, 986A can be used in such demanding chemicals as caustics, dilute acids, brake fluids, silicone fluids, ketones, and phosphate esters. This sheet gasket also provides high resistance to weathering, oxygen, and ozone, and is compatible with animal and vegetable oils. Description: 986A is off white in color and and is made with EPDM/Aramid Fiber. Product Data MSDS Advantages: 986A is made with an EPDM binder giving it the ability to be used in the more severe compressed sheet applications.
