compact, high powered LED emitter light produces 2 distinct light output types. The top two LEDs are based on a 3 watt IR packages, which are available in either 850nm or 940nm. The range of the IR lighting, with appropriate night vision equipment will exceed 1000 feet. The bottom 2 LEDs are based on 10 watt LED packages, producing 1600 lumens and projecting a bright, white beam 300 feet long and 50 feet wide. The total wattage draw of the entire light fixture is 26 watts (20W visible and 6W IR). This 4 inch square LED light fixture produces 1600 Lumens (150 watt halogen equivalent) of visible light and 6 watts of infrared light, while drawing just over 2 amps due to advanced electronic drivers which are also responsible for their 50,000 hour life span and variable 9-48 Volt DC input. The LEDs emitter is potted into an aircraft grade aluminum chassis that is designed to protect the LEDs and dissipate heat with an integrated heat sink fin array at the back of the unit. Even after running for a full hour, the lenses are only mildly warm. The housing is suspended within a form fitting trunnion (yolk-type) mount, this LED light can be adjusted and locked into any position to suit the application. A single stud protrudes from the bottom of the mount, enabling the operator to install the light using a simple through hole mount. The light can be installed anywhere a half-inch hole can be drilled. The IP68 ingress protection rated housing makes them impenetrable to dust and submersible under water up to 3 meters. The 97% optically clear polycarbonate lenses are secured by a 6061 aluminum face plate which doubles as a radiant heat sink to melt away snow and ice in frigid conditions. The stainless steel mounting bracket features knurled aiming knobs for 90 degrees of adjustment and is centered on the profile of the lights which provides a slim 1.5” mounting depth. These LED lights are certified to 6G RMS with vibration tests to ensure performance in high impact conditions. When the failed light is returned, Magnalight will ship a new replacement.
