The Magnalight LED-BL-12 LED Boat Light offers high light output from a low profile, light weight, durable and waterproof fixture. This IP67 rated LED light bar is is designed with low profile hinge mounts that allow 180 degrees of angle adjustment and produces 2,160 lumens of light while drawing only 3 amps on 12 volts. This light can run on any voltage from 9 to 42 volts and provides a durable and powerful lighting solution ideal for use in marine environments as well as industrial and commercial applications such as machine vision system lighting, security illumination, exterior building lighting and applications where a low amp draw, waterproof, high intensity light source is required. The LED-BL-12 LED boat light from Magnalight produces 2,160 lumens of bright light while drawing only 36 watts @3amps from a 12 volt electrical system. Twelve Edison Edixeon® Emitters containing CREE EZBright® three watt LEDs producing a maximum of 180 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with 35 degree optics to to produce a wider beam spread and more light over a larger area nearer the fixture. We also offer optional spotlight versions with 10 degree optics to produce a much longer reaching beam with more light concentrated in a tighter pattern. At only 2.75 inches high with a 3 inch depth, this unit has a very low profile that allows mounting in areas where normal incandescent lamps either would not fit or would block other equipment. As a result, many manufacturers reduce the output of their LEDs to reduce the amount of heat produced. These LED light bars utilize an extruded aluminum housing that incorporates an advanced heat radiating fin design which dissipates heat efficiently to produce the maximum amount of power and longevity from the integrated 3 watt LEDs. The end result is more light and longer LED life with higher average lumen maintenance after 50,000 hours. Voltage Control: These units contain an internal voltage regulator which allows them to adjust input current to provide the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels from 9 to 42 VDC. These LED light bars can operate on current ranging from 9 to 42 VDC without any modifications necessary as a result. This multi-voltage capability makes these units ideal for mobile and stand alone applications such as those found on boats and vehicles where power systems don’t always operate with 12 volts and external generators, transformers or inverters are impractical. They offer extruded aluminum housings, stainless steel hardware and polycarbonate lenses that provide good durability, yet are slimmer and lighter than extreme duty LEDLB-E series lights. These units can operate in temperatures ranging from -40 degrees Celsius to 80 degrees Celsius, are waterproof to 1 meter and are sealed against the ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The Edison 3 watt LEDs offer inherent LED resistance to shocks and vibrations, contributing to these unit’s 15.6G rating of vibration tolerance. Mounting: Magnalight LED light bars are equipped standard with aluminum mounting blocks which slide within the aluminum housing to allow users to adjust their positioning to match existing or user drilled mounting holes. Each aluminum mounting block has an integrated rubber bushing to absorb vibrations and shocks. To secure the lights in place users simply slide the mounting bolts through the aluminum mounting block and rubber isolator, through the mounting surface, then secure the bolt with a locking nut on the opposite side of the mounting surface. This mounting system enables mounting to flat or round surfaces and allows for minimal 7 degrees of flexibility of angle placement of the light.
