The 4742PA22101800 is a fabric-over-foam EMI gasket designed for effective electromagnetic interference shielding. It features a UL 94HB rated construction, consisting of electrically conductive fabric wrapped around a thermoplastic elastomer core. The gasket offers a low surface resistivity of less than 0.07 Oc/,ñ°, ensuring excellent conductivity and a shielding effectiveness exceeding 100 dB across a wide frequency range. This product is RoHS compliant and can be customized with various cross-section profiles, including rectangle, D, knife, and bell shapes. It is available with either conductive or non-conductive pressure-sensitive adhesive options, and can be tailored to specific application needs through die-cutting or notching. The gasket maintains its electrical performance even after extensive use, showing minimal degradation after 1,000,000 cycles. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -40 to 70 ¬8C and has a shelf life of 12 months under standard conditions.
