As USB interconnect systems gain in popularity, so do the demands on the cabling systems. These waterproof cables can prevent costly repairs sometimes necessary when contaminants such as water and dust destroy standard USB connectors. These versatile assemblies feature a waterproof female USB A connector and 24 AWG 10" wire leads that can easily be soldered into a PCB or terminated with a variety of connectors. Mating waterproof male cable assemblies are available. Use either L-com part number WPUSB-CVR or WPCVR-USB-1394 to cover and seal unused female side to maintain the IP67 rating.
