Introducing new dual use Category 5e, IP67 rated waterproof cables. These cables can be used with IP rated receptacles for a watertight seal and also have an innovative design that can mate with standard jacks. This eliminates the need to find specialized cables that are IP rated on one end and have a standard RJ45 on the other. This is accomplished by a special waterproof shroud that can be pulled back to mate with a standard RJ45 jack. Other features include a foil shield to protect against EMI/RFI interference, a tethered dustproof cap for the shroud and a CMX outdoor burn rating. Available in Category 5e and Category 6. These assemblies are compatible with L-com's WPBH series of jacks for an IP67 rated seal and also work with a standard RJ45 (8x8) jack without an IP rated seal.
