The RMSP-CAT5-24 provides protection for up to 24 CAT5 data lines. The unit is fully compatible with industry-standard 802.3af Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) devices and 10/100 Base-T Ethernet networks, providing protection to both Ethernet data pairs as well as the PoE power feed. The unit supports both 802.3af modes A and B supplying power. Power can be fed up the CAT5 data pairs, 1-2, 3-6 or using the two unused pairs, 4-5, 7-8. This arrestor is compatible with 10 and 100 Base-T Network appliance with or without PoE capability. This includes Wireless Access Points, Wired Switches, Network Appliances, Outdoor Wireless Routers and CCTV IP Cameras. The RMSP-CAT5-24 is designed to mount in standard 19" distribution rack. The 1U design helps save space in the rack. An integral cable management rail is located on the rear of the unit. Ground terminals are provided directly on the suppressor providing superior grounding. This protector is also available in a 8-port wall/shelf mount version, L-com part number CMSP-CAT5-8.
