L-com's CHD78 family of hard to find high density D-sub cable assemblies offer solid performance at economical prices. Double shielded cable (copper braid plus aluminum mylar foil) provide maximum protection against data corrupting EMI/RFI. Molded backshells provide superior strain relief while 28 AWG conductors are wired straight through for ease of compatibility. Metal thumbscrews insure fast and easy connections. Custom lengths and pinouts are available with modest minimum requirements. Features Gold plated contacts provide reliable connections with repeated mating cycles HDB78 male to female connectors; lengths range from 1 ft to 50 ft; color is light gray Hex nuts on female connectors are removable to expose 4-40 thumb screws Double shielded for protection against EMI/RFI Wired straight through for extending serial devices/peripherals Application Data transfer High density signal transmission OEM applications Serial communications
