Kussmaul Electronics Company, Inc. Battery Chargers Model # 091-9C-HO

Description
Automatically Charges 2 Batteries 11 Amps Total Output Current Limited Can Not Be Overloaded By Deep Discharged Batteries or Vehicle Starting Auto Pump Maintains Air Pressure in the Vehicle's Brake System May be Operated as a D.C. Compressor from the Battery or Switched so that Compressor will Only Run with A.C. Power Applied The Pump Plus HO is a small air compressor and a completely automatic battery charger. The compressor is a standard Auto Pump. The automatic charger, however, has a maximum output of 11 amperes. The air compressor is designed to mount on vehicles with air brakes to maintain the air pressure in the air brake system while the vehicle is not in use. A pressure switch senses the system pressure and operates the compressor whenever the pressure drops below a predetermined level. Designed to mount on the vehicle, the automatic battery charger keeps the vehicle's batteries fully charged. A Selector Switch is provided on the charger to operate the compressor either as a D.C. compressor or as an A.C.compressor. In either switch position the compressor operates from the vehicle's battery. When "D.C." is selected, the compressor operates whenever the pressure switch senses low system pressure. This is useful when parking the vehicle away from the 110 volt input power. For those operators who wish to limit compressor operation to the times when the shoreline is connected to the vehicle, the Selector Switch should be placed in the "A.C." position. This will operate the compressor when the A.C. power is available, but shuts off the compressor when the shoreline is removed. In either switch position the compressor is operated by the vehicle's battery. The battery charger is completely automatic and is for vehicles with dual battery systems. The batteries are automatically charged and maintained fully charged while still being isolated from each other. This new and improved unit contains 2 independent chargers to sense and control the current to the batteries. Thus parasitic loads on one battery have no effect on the other battery. Provision is made also for the connection of remote indicating lights
