KTR Corporation Hydraulically Applied Floating Caliper Brake KTR-STOP® M-A-F

Description
The brake caliper M-A-F is designed as a floating caliper brake providing for the benefit of being mainly free from axial forces as far as the brake disk is concerned. Even in case of misadjustment or an error with the installation a damage on the drive train is prevented in this way. The option to wear off the pads fully allows to permit long maintenance intervals and optimize the operating expenses. This brake is a typical service brake which is used with low torques. All features of this brake are aiming at operating reliably even under extreme environmental conditions while generating low operating expenses subject to its design. Product features Clamping forces of up to 130 kN Short reaction periods subject to the short distance between brake pad and brake disc as well as the low oil volume Big pad surface resulting in small surface pressure, low wear of pads and low temperature Low maintenance expenses because of a few mobile components only Drain ports avoid leakages on the brake pad Brake pads available from various materials Easy replacement of brake pads Suitable for rough ambient conditions
