The ALFA K-S-RM-001 is a fluid coupling combined with a standard ROTEX. The standard ROTEX and the mounted outer shell is the drive. The output is conducted via the inside paddle wheel with hollow shaft. The fluid coupling can be designed without or with a small or large delay chamber in order to guarantee a smooth start-up. The fluid coupling can be varied with other torsionally flexible ROTEX variations as well.
