The ALFA K-S-AR is a fluid coupling combined with a POLY-NORM AR. The hollow shaft with paddle wheel is the drive. The output is conducted via the outer shell mounted with POLY-NORM AR. The fluid coupling can be designed without or with a small or large delay chamber in order to guarantee a smooth start-up. The torsionally flexible POLY-NORM AR can also be combined with brake drum (AR-BTA) or brake disk (AR-SBA).
Product features
Drive via hollow shaft (inner wheel drive)
Smooth start-up of machines (e. g. conveyors)
Avoids over exertion of engines during the acceleration of large masses
Reduced power consumption with eased and shortened engine start-up
Protection of machines (input and output) in case of overload and blockade
Maintenance-free torque transmission
Vibration-reducing features due to oil as operating medium
Easy torque regulation via oil filling level
Torsionally flexible coupling combination (vibration-reducing)
Failsafe
Maintenance-free
Short design
Axial plug-in coupling connection
