The 2487 is a three-cell AA battery holder in the DENSI-PAK series, designed for secure battery retention and low contact resistance in harsh environments. It features an ABS plastic housing, nickel-plated spring steel contacts, and 6.0-inch (#26 AWG) UL/CSA 1007 stranded wire leads with stripped, pretinned ends. The holder supports shock and vibration resistance and operates within a temperature range of 10°C to 90°C. It is sealed to IP65 standards for water and dust resistance, but does not include an on/off switch or PC connector. Mounting is via wire leads only.
