Jergens Precision Expanding Dowels allow for fast and accurate location of twin vises on locator plates. The top and bottom half of the dowel expand separately. Aligns (2) holes concentrically and locks them into position. Both locking screws are accessed from the top of the pin. Remove the top screw, insert the dowel into the locating hole of the first part, and expand the bottom half with a hex wrench. 2. Replace the top screw, slide the locating hole of the second part over the dowel and expand the top half with a hex wrench.
